VACIS XPL - small portal for the personal cars and Vans

The car has to go through the small portal equipped with the X ray scanning unit. The scanning direction - vertical: the x ray source at the bottom, the detector in the horizontal panel above the car. The radiation dose needed to make the scan is so law, that enables scanning the people in the car. The control is very quick, the scanner is not lowering the throughput of the checkpoint. Typical use of the portal: the security control (the scan reveals the threats like explosives and all sorts of weapons), illegal transfer of immigrants, goods, alcohol, cigarettes, narcotics. The installation is quick and easy (about 6 hours) and can be made in the area of existing checkpoints. The system is safe, there is no need of using the antiradiation shields. The ambient working temperature range is -20 to +40 Celsius deg.

VACIS IP6500 FullScan - X ray portal for scanning the moving vehicles

X ray portal for scanning the moving vehicles containing the people. The throughput: 150 big vehicles (busses) per hour. Penetration: 30 cm. The X ray dose per scan is minimal. The system is ideal for the checkpoints with the limited area. The surface needed for the installation: 9 m x 7 m. The system does not require the antiradiation shields or walls. Can be equipped with the radiation sources detector/identificator and CCTV with optical character recognition system. Double energy imaging separates the groups of materials with the different atomic number Z.

The system is the excellent tool for the check of the liquid fuels. The image on the left shows the scan of the container filled with the water (the bottom layer) and the propane (above). The fluids which can be identified: water, petrol, diesel, propane. The system is the ideal tool for the quality control of the fuels shipped in. Look at the test results of scanning the fuels in barrels and metal containers on the trucks.

The system in the IR6500 version is used for the control of the railway platforms and the containers on the platforms. The throughput is 150 platforms per hour. The scan on the left shows through the railway container walls the different fluids hidden in the metal barrels.

Gantry system on the rails for the control of the standing vehicles without people. The throughput: 20 big trucks (in ex. TIR with the container) per hour. Penetration: 30 cm. The X ray dose for the scan is minimal. The system is ideal for the checkpoints with the restricted area. The surface needed for the installation: 36,6 m x 7,6 m. The system does not require the antiradiation shields or walls. Can be optionaly equipped with the radiation sources detector/identifier and CCTV with the optical character recognition. Double energy imaging separates the groups of materials with different atomic number Z.
